Book 1 of Harry Potter wrote by Joanne Rowling and published by Bloomsbury.

This copy is a first edition and 39th printing. It corresponds to an early printing as shown by the young wizard illustrated on the rear. Afterwards, this illustration has been modified and replace by a picture of Albus Dumbledore with his long hair and white beard.

The copyright is signed with the name of "Joanne Rowling 1997" instead of "J. K. Rowling" as it is the case with the later versions and with every and each one of the other books.

This copy contains some errors that will also be fixed later (ref: « J.K. Rowling: A Bibliography 1997-2013 » wrote by P. W. Errington ---> see picture with the list of corrections).

The book is in very good condition. The pages are complete without fold nor tear. The biding is firm and does not present any sign of a previous reading. The front cover and the rear shows very slight signs of used but it is a very well preserved copy for its age.

Do not hesitate to ask any question or require more pictures if you need. I would be pleased to inform you about the Harry Potter books :)
